Example: Filter Custom Reports and Charts by Seam
The following examples use the gridded seam model from the coal_minex demonstration data set.
Filter a Custom Report by Seam
- Open v90_coal_stripping.minesched.
- If you have not run the schedule previously, in the Create Schedule tab, click Create Schedule.
- In the Dashboard, select Add Report > Custom.
- In the Title field, type "COAL in seam A".
- In the Period order field, select Row.
- Click Insert.
- In the Series data grid:
- In the Value column, select MASS.
- In the Movement column, select Removed.
- In the Production column, select all (using the wildcard *).
- In the Materials column, select COAL.
- Click in the Materials cell, and add a colon (:) and A to the material name.
- In the Resources column, select all (using the wildcard *).
- In the Text Parameters column, select all (using the wildcard *).
That is, the material class cell should read "COAL:A".

- Click OK.
The Customise Report form appears.
The report displays information for only COAL in seam A.
Filter a Custom Chart by Seam

Open v90_coal_stripping.minesched.
- If you have not run the schedule previously, in the Create Schedule tab, click Create Schedule.
- In the Dashboard, select Add Chart > Custom.
- Select the Title check box.
- In the Title field, type "COAL in seam A".
- In the Legend field, select Outside Bottom.
- In the Colouring field, select Default.
- In the Style field, select 2D .
- Click Insert.
- In the Series data grid:
- In the Value column, select MASS.
- In the Movement column, select Removed.
- In the Production column, select all (using the wildcard *).
- In the Materials column, select COAL.
- Click in the Materials cell, and add a colon (:)and A to the material name.
- In the Resources column, select all (using the wildcard *).
- In the Text Parameters column, select all (using the wildcard *).
That is, the material class cell should read "COAL:A".

- Click OK.
The Customise Chart form appears.
The chart displays information for only COAL in seam A.
